By downloading, accessing, or using PDFish, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the application or its services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute an agreement between you and Grid Plays regarding your use of PDFish. By accessing or using PDFish, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
When PDFish presents a Privacy Policy and Terms of Use acceptance notice, selecting Accept & Agree confirms your acceptance of these Terms and the PDFish Privacy Policy.
2. Description of the Service
PDFish provides tools for working with documents and PDF files. Depending on the version of the application, available tools may include PDF conversion, merging, splitting, page organization, compression, image conversion, document editing, and electronic signature features.
PDFish may be distributed as a web application and/or mobile application, including through platforms such as Google Play. Features may be added, removed, modified, or changed over time. Availability may also vary depending on your device, operating system, application version, or supported file format.
3. Permitted Use
PDFish is provided for lawful personal, educational, professional, and other legitimate purposes. You may use the application to process files that you have the legal right and permission to access and modify.
4. User Responsibility for Files
You are solely responsible for the files and documents that you select, upload, import, edit, sign, convert, or otherwise process using PDFish.
You must ensure that you have the necessary rights, permissions, or authorization to process any file and to make any modifications, copies, signatures, or conversions performed using PDFish.
Grid Plays does not claim ownership of documents or files that you process using PDFish.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use PDFish to process, distribute, or facilitate unlawful content or activities.
- Use the application to infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
- Attempt to interfere with, damage, disable, or disrupt the operation or security of PDFish or its associated services.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of PDFish except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Modify, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit PDFish or its original assets without written permission.
- Use automated systems, scripts, or unauthorized methods to interfere with the application or its services.
- Use PDFish in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
6. Electronic Signatures
PDFish may provide functionality that allows users to place typed or drawn signatures on PDF documents.
PDFish is a document-processing tool and does not necessarily provide identity verification, certificate-based digital signatures, notarization, or other specialized electronic-signature services.
You are responsible for determining whether a signature created using PDFish is legally sufficient for your particular purpose or jurisdiction.
7. Document Accuracy and Output
Document conversion and processing may occasionally produce formatting differences, missing elements, rendering issues, or other unexpected results depending on the original file and the device or technology being used.
You are responsible for reviewing processed documents before relying on them, submitting them, printing them, signing them, or sharing them with another person or organization.
8. Advertisements
PDFish may be supported by advertising and may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob.
Advertisements may appear on the Home page, All Tools page, or within supported tool interfaces. Advertisements may use formats such as native advertisements or other supported advertising formats.
The frequency, placement, format, and availability of advertisements may change over time.
9. Third-Party Services
PDFish may use third-party services for purposes such as advertising, application distribution, analytics, or other supporting functionality.
Third-party services operate independently and may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Grid Plays is not responsible for the independent practices, availability, or policies of third-party services.
10. Intellectual Property
PDFish and its original software, code, interface design, graphics, branding, text, animations, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Grid Plays and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any Grid Plays intellectual property.
You retain your rights to files and documents that you process using PDFish, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
11. Application Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue PDFish or any feature of the application at any time.
We do not guarantee that PDFish will always be available, uninterrupted, completely error-free, or compatible with every device or file format.
12. Updates
PDFish may receive updates, bug fixes, security improvements, performance improvements, new features, or changes to existing functionality.
Some updates may be required for continued use of certain features or for compatibility with supported operating systems.
13. No Professional or Legal Advice
PDFish is a document-processing utility and does not provide legal, financial, accounting, medical, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for determining whether a document, conversion, signature, or other output produced using PDFish is appropriate for your particular purpose.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
PDFish is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that PDFish will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for every device, document, file format, or user.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Grid Plays shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of PDFish.
This includes, where legally permitted, losses resulting from document corruption, formatting errors, unexpected conversion results, loss of locally stored files, service interruptions, or reliance on processed documents.
16. User Data and Privacy
Your use of PDFish is also subject to the PDFish Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how information, files, permissions, local preferences, consent records, advertising, and third-party services are handled when you use PDFish.
17. Consent and Local Preferences
PDFish may store certain application preferences locally on your device, such as interface settings and other settings necessary for the application to remember your choices.
PDFish may also store a local record showing that you accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy. This record is used to manage the application's consent experience and does not create a user account.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to PDFish, new features, third-party services, legal requirements, or our practices.
The "Last updated" date will be changed when material revisions are made.
If a material update requires renewed acceptance, PDFish may ask you to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the application.
Where renewed acceptance is not required, your continued use of PDFish after updated Terms become available means that you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by applicable law. Any disputes should first be addressed through good-faith communication between you and Grid Plays.
