Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how PDFish, published by Grid Plays, handles information when you use the PDFish application and related services.
Information We Collect
PDFish is designed to process documents and files selected by you. You do not need to create an account to use the application's core PDF tools.
PDFish does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, password, phone number, contacts, or physical address merely because you use the application.
Files You Select
PDFish may request access to files that you explicitly select through the device's file picker or equivalent system interface. Depending on the tool you use, these files may include PDFs, images, text files, spreadsheets, documents, or other supported file types.
Files selected by you are used only to perform the requested operation, such as converting, merging, splitting, compressing, organizing, or otherwise processing a document.
PDFish is designed to process supported files locally on your device where the particular feature allows local processing. PDFish does not intentionally upload your personal documents to Grid Plays servers unless a future feature specifically requires such processing and this Privacy Policy is updated accordingly.
Android App Permissions
When PDFish is installed as a mobile application, it may use Android system permissions or platform interfaces when required for specific features.
- Files and media: PDFish uses the system file picker or appropriate Android interfaces when you choose files for processing.
PDFish does not request optional permissions simply to allow you to browse or use unrelated parts of the application. Permission availability and behavior may vary depending on your Android version and device.
Documents and Personal Information
Documents processed through PDFish may contain personal, financial, business, educational, or other sensitive information. PDFish does not require you to provide this information directly to Grid Plays.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate rights and permissions to process any document or file that you select.
Electronic Signatures
PDFish may provide tools that allow you to add a typed or drawn signature to a PDF document.
Any signature, name, or other information that you choose to add to a document is processed as part of the document-editing operation. Users should review the resulting document before sharing or using it for legal, financial, business, or other important purposes.
Local Storage and Preferences
PDFish may temporarily store application data, preferences, consent information, or processing-related information on your device to provide its features and improve the user experience.
For example, PDFish may locally remember interface preferences such as whether you have enabled Compact file rows.
PDFish may also store a local record that you have accepted the application's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. This is used to remember your consent and avoid repeatedly displaying the consent notice.
These preferences and consent records are stored locally on your device and are not intended to personally identify you.
Where files are stored locally by the application, they remain under the control of your device and operating system. PDFish does not intentionally transmit such locally stored documents to Grid Plays servers unless a feature explicitly requires it.
Advertising
PDFish may display advertisements through third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.
Advertisements may appear in areas of the application such as the Home page, All Tools page, or within supported tool interfaces. The exact placement, format, and availability of advertisements may change over time.
If advertising services are used, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as advertising identifiers, device-related information, approximate location derived from network information, and information about advertisement interactions for purposes such as delivering, measuring, and preventing fraud related to advertisements.
Depending on your device settings, applicable laws, and available consent choices, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized.
Third-Party Services
PDFish may use third-party services necessary for application functionality, distribution, analytics, advertising, or other supporting purposes.
Third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable terms. Grid Plays does not control the privacy practices of independent third-party service providers.
If additional third-party services are introduced that materially change how user information is handled, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.

Children's Privacy
PDFish does not require users to create an account or provide personal information in order to use its core functionality.
We do not knowingly use PDFish to directly collect personal information from children. Third-party services, including advertising services, may have their own requirements and controls relating to children and child-directed applications.
PDFish will be operated and configured in accordance with applicable Google Play requirements and other applicable privacy regulations.
Data Retention and Deletion
Grid Plays does not maintain a personal user account database for PDFish's core functionality.
Files and documents processed locally by PDFish remain on your device according to the application's behavior and the storage controls of your device. You can generally remove locally stored application data, preferences, and consent records through the device's application settings, application data controls, or by uninstalling the application.
Information processed by third-party services, such as advertising providers, is subject to those providers' own retention and deletion policies.
Security
We take reasonable measures to avoid unnecessary collection of user information and to design PDFish so that document processing can be performed locally where technically supported.
However, no software, device, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should maintain appropriate device security and avoid processing or sharing sensitive documents with untrusted parties.
Your Choices and Permissions
PDFish uses system-level permissions where required for specific features.
- Files: You choose which files to provide to PDFish through the device's file-selection interface.
- Advertising: Available advertising and privacy controls may be managed through your device and applicable Google settings.
- Local preferences: You may change supported application preferences, such as Compact file rows, through the application settings when available.
You may deny optional permissions, although doing so may prevent the related feature from functioning.
Privacy Policy and Terms Acceptance
When you first use PDFish, the application may display a notice asking you to review and accept this Privacy Policy and the PDFish Terms of Use.
When you select Accept & Agree, PDFish may store the acceptance status locally on your device so that the notice does not need to be displayed repeatedly.
This local acceptance record is used only for managing the application's consent experience and is not intended to identify you personally.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to PDFish, new features, third-party services, legal requirements, or our privacy practices.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be changed when material updates are made. If a material change requires renewed acceptance, PDFish may display the Privacy Policy and Terms acceptance notice again.
